The Night is Over

Mum & I got our butts to our much awaited Chocolate Lounge.

We had the Ms Coco mug-order & Belgian waffles with molten chocolate & strawberries.

Mmhhm.I wouldn't exaggerate the awesomeness of the placem but nonetheless I enjoyed everybite :) the chocolate is just right. Good quality time with Mum and finding my German Dictionary .

Note to self : Never wear cover up wedges for shopping trips, EVER.

And of course, a great time spent at Siang's place for his 18th! Saw alot of familiar faces, and met new friends.

Heelloooo.

I love Fridays now because its the weekend and like I said before, I'm exhausted.

I have no idea why, really. By 9.30pm, I need to pinch myself to stay awake. Hence, my caffeine intake has increased, and my files are getting thicker by the minute.

And I seriously need to knock some good common sense into my head for Tourism Geography.

I'm such a blur.

Am dying to watch The Dark Knight but I can foresee that the cinemas might still be fully booked so Imma wait till the very last few days of showtime.

By the way, have you ever cramped 6 people in a small MYVI and with a brother lookalike in the frontseat? Gosh, it was like tuna in a can, seriously. Even my mother thinks its mad.

I've got the news, that was music to my ears.

MAS finally has an opening for air stewards/stewardesses. But sadly, the parents didn't like the idea of me dropping out, especially when I'm just beginning. After much advice from Dad.

But, I shall vow to wait for the next one.

Brighter Than Sunshine

The French language is starting to kick in. I enjoyed my first class, learning NUMBERS. Not as easy as I thought, and pronunciation really kills me. Gosh. But I love my class. Its huge, but hey, we have fun. Lectures have been running fine, obviously the hard parts are not at my reach yet but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have fun!

Its another stay-in weekend. Mum & Dad had a great time at some gathering with their old mates from the airport, leaving us girls at home alone since grandma is with my uncle in Seremban. It got pretty boring at some point that I rearranged my closet.
I thought of having like a burger-movie night with the sister but it didn't work out cause Mum already cooked.



Instead,I got my compensation with BK just now. MMM, HEAVEN! :D


This is why fastfoods should only be eaten once in a while. You will savour the taste more, seriously! And speaking of food, I heard that the chocolate boutique in OneUtama is opened! Omg, I have been eyeing on that place eversince it started renovating. Must drag the parents + sister there. I'm eager to try it out. Any reviews on that place?

Dumdeedum ,college has begun :)



My timetable is pretty interesting ,honestly. Mondays are full throttle from 9-5pm (extended to 7pm when Malaysian Studies begin) On Wednesdays , I have a long 4-hour break while on Thursdays, I have an even longer 6-hour break. Amusing, eh? But at least I could go home for a gooood rest . Though, my sister was a lil upset that I couldn't get the timetable she and I were hoping for.



Doesn't matter to me, I do like my timetable somehow :)



As always, I miss my brother once more :(



I was thinking of calling it the "MissingtheBullyBrother Blues". OR "MBB Blues". Symptoms would include missing brothers once they leave and would always think that he's at home.



One possible cure?

By right, I should be in college now, following the college tour as inscribed in the itinerary, but due to my lazy nature, I decided to walk back home!

How was college?
I'm getting the hang of it. Its a big step for me, teehee :) I'm finally a college student, getting her ugly student card soon, and getting RM 1 off my cinema tickets the next time I'm at the movies!

The cafeteria somehow reminds me of the foodcourt in Midvalley. Maybe a small portion of it. They have quite a number of selections. Their food is really just average, but its pretty relieving to know that I can count on it for a bite when I'm here. No complains .
I had the waffle yesterday :)

KDU is not very small as what you think. We got lost today, but thank God we were on time. Somehow, the School of Hospitality,Tourism & Culinary Arts (SHTCA) sports professionalism, which I admire! Right now, orientation lasts for the entire week, I kid you not. But, I planned everything in order, so yes, my face would be missing a coupla times over the next few days.
As usual, there's the welcome speeches, trying to make us feel comfortable, and the all ice breaking games which gets us talking. But, worth the shot.

Lets see. I've met a very friendly Degree student from Maldives, a very competent chef doing his degree from Sri Lanka, a whole bunch of Chinese students & made a coupla friends who I stick around with, not to mention having Chee Yen & Fateh in the same course as me.
Oh, and I met Choon Seng today as well during his break!

So life in KDU isn't bad :)
for starters now.

Everything seems very strict around here, so my bad-girl habits shouldn't get in the way. Especially skipping classes.
See what I'm doing at this very minute?

I have days which require me to be in formal code, so I'm back to hogging my Mum's closet for her officewear. Oh yes, I love to borrow my Mum's and sister's clothes. Whoopee!

So, how did I spend my last weekend , stripping off my "Official Bummer" to "College Student FINALLY" title?

Well, the retail therapy with my Mum & Sister :)

Mum & I were in OU on Saturday, checking out the Zara sales, and looking for a dress for Mum's dinner next week. I got a pair of heels, since mine was wearing off and coming out, and my first pair of wedges :) all on sale, all with my pocket money.

Sunday was spent in the Curve & Ikea. Mum found the cutest dress from Nichii, which brought me & sis shopping as well. I got a blouse and my first pair of three-quarters. I have no idea what got into me when I was buying them because it usually makes me look weird. Cheh liked it, so did Mum.

We were shopping till we were dropped dead tired. Cheh had a successful trip, and so did Mum. We manage to get Cheh to the Ikea restaurant and she liked it as well! I'm super glad they still had the ice-cream waiting for me. It would have been sold out by the time we got there usually. Went hunting for furniture before springing over to Ikano and parting ways with Cheh & BF.

Its ze very chilly Thursday evening. Brr.


Tuesday , it was another nostalgic day of visiting the school once more for the new installment of the Prefectorial board . Pretty decent I'd say. It was really good to see the juniors again, some unrecognizable somehow! All in all it was really good. And I just realised my three point-turn is very BAD!

After everything was done, SherRin,Charissa & Weng Hoe drove back to my place before deciding where to go. And as all decisions go, ONE U yet again. We went searching for the other trio before their movie. I was craving for donuts, so Big Apple it was. We sat for a good two hours reminiscing and hearing stories we never heard before, and SherRin's utter HUGE surpise. ;)


She still can't get over it.


Bought half a dozen back for the fatties back home before going back.
And either one of them ate my favourite cinnamon roll doughnut :(


Hope Mum is free during the weekend. I miss spending time with her.

I was pretty upset over the rise in price of the Big Apple doughnuts, so I wanted to make my own doughnuts. But, I had not enough oil, and Mum will definitely disapprove of me using the whole bottle of corn oil, so I made cinnamon rolls instead!

Hmm, not too successful actually. The top is a lil crusty, probably because the oven was a little too hot. Shall retry next time. Power of yeast :)

Oh and Cheh made this for dinner yesterday.

Its scallops + mushrooms + so many other things she was craving for ,all under one dish!
She cleaned it by the way. Cheh suggested we cook dinner one day and I'm looking forward to that idea :)
