I've been out sick for this entire week and the whole leaking nose strikes again. What's worst, I had to endure the lecture theatre which could bust my head wide open. Brr, that room brings a whole new definition of COLD!

Anyhoo, Cheh & I were the only ones at home tonight last minutely, so we had pizza. Well, I opted for warm soup since my nose wouldn't stop dripping (ew,disgusting much?), but to prove my sister wrong about my habits, we went for pizza. She made me feel bad about the whole thing about not eating pizze before that and gave me such a hard time when we were ordering!

Btw, I wished I'd never order pizza from this place again. Seriously, for such a reduced sized pizza with a very expensive tag, I will be a loyal customer to Domino's Pizza from now on.

Yesterday, Mum was raving about the home furnishing fair, so Dad decided to make Mum happy and brought us there. Had dinner at Devi's Corner since I was craving for chapati and we headed out to the Curve. Well, it was a very small fair and Mum was completely dissatisfied.

Bought some bread and went home.

From both the pizza and furnishing fair, I've learnt that ,

Pictures can be very DECEIVING.

Oh thank god its Friday tomorrow! And a very auspicious 080808! Grandma's favourite number combination. Can't wait to watch the opening of the Olympics.

Happy August, people! :)

To sum up my week, its been pretty down & hectic. Lots of screeches here and there, but I'm sure we'll pull through. Made me realise how lucky I am to be in my class , seriously.

Ah, I loathe situations like these. It cringes me to the fact that it worries me somehow.

Please oh please let us go back to before.

After classes yesterday, had a good rest and bumped over to OU for a drink with bestie.

Well, if you consider it to be just a drink of course. We went window shopping for cardigans and had a very early dinner in Sakae Sushi. Mmm, soba noodles, slurps! Oh oh! And this lovely girl of mine ordered Sashimo, right BESTIE? ;)

That shall be your nickname from now on.

And by the way we didnt take any pictures :(

Had such a good talk & quality time together. After she left, I went to run some errands for Mum, got her dinner and bought my much long-awaited Starbucks! I've been dying for some since two weeks ago. Kind of my own little treat for finally completing 16 hours of work task at the bursary. Now, I'm broke . Hee.

Oh yes, let me introduce you to my "sisters" if I may say.

Just a thought.

If you buy relatively pricier things, do you have so much money, and you don't know where to spend? Is that thought ever right?

No?
Well, hence, I'm sick of that thought.

Is it a fault that the secondhands couldn't be at reach and had left no choices but to get a new one ?Is it wrong to own something a little bigger, which costs a lil more. but could last me a lifetime of knowledge?

And really, Is it sensible to judge people that way?

I hit the brakes a teeewweee too hard and the sound of books crashing down from the seat was significant as i approached the highway toll.





So, being me, a kepochee, looked at my books to see whether they landed correctly, whether or not their covers were folded. Yeap, i can be fuzzy at critical times like this. But at the same moment my car was rolling forward. I didn't even notice it was. Might have lifted my leg a little during that distraction period.



The second i lift up my head, i saw my car, so freakishly near the silver vios in front of me. i swear if i moved another inch, my car will be kissing that silver vios's ass. Just at that moment, i stepped on the brakes, causing another jerk. I hope my brakes are working fine.

sometimes, i dunno how i can be beyond ungracefulness by tripping myself over objects i never knew could trip people. For example, take friday, spent a wonderful time with my bestie after so long. The downside of all of it? I just had to fall. Where in the basement. I was wearing heels somemore. You see, i wasn't paying much attention to where i was going as i was trying to stuff the receipt into my wallet then, before i knew it, "poof", my knees and hands were on the ground as i fell forward. It was sooooo embarrasing! omg. There was a bunch of people there too, they saw the whole thing. i really dunno where to hide my face then, even though my knees hurt, i got up, without even looking at them, i walked to my car, got in, and started inspecting for new wounds.

Thank god i didn't sprain my leg. Moreover, i wore shorts!

No,no. I'm fine. Just scratches. No wounds. Thank god.

Just as i was driving off, "eeeekk" sound was produced. Just then, i knew my car had scratched the car next to mine. I parked my car immediately and inspected the back door to check for signs of scratches. phew. none.

The Night is Over

Mum & I got our butts to our much awaited Chocolate Lounge.

We had the Ms Coco mug-order & Belgian waffles with molten chocolate & strawberries.

Mmhhm.I wouldn't exaggerate the awesomeness of the placem but nonetheless I enjoyed everybite :) the chocolate is just right. Good quality time with Mum and finding my German Dictionary .

Note to self : Never wear cover up wedges for shopping trips, EVER.

And of course, a great time spent at Siang's place for his 18th! Saw alot of familiar faces, and met new friends.

I love Fridays now because its the weekend and like I said before, I'm exhausted.

I have no idea why, really. By 9.30pm, I need to pinch myself to stay awake. Hence, my caffeine intake has increased, and my files are getting thicker by the minute.

And I seriously need to knock some good common sense into my head for Tourism Geography.

I'm such a blur.

Am dying to watch The Dark Knight but I can foresee that the cinemas might still be fully booked so Imma wait till the very last few days of showtime.

By the way, have you ever cramped 6 people in a small MYVI and with a brother lookalike in the frontseat? Gosh, it was like tuna in a can, seriously. Even my mother thinks its mad.

I've got the news, that was music to my ears.

MAS finally has an opening for air stewards/stewardesses. But sadly, the parents didn't like the idea of me dropping out, especially when I'm just beginning. After much advice from Dad.

But, I shall vow to wait for the next one.
